PAT Test Certification

I thought it would be useful to share a bit more information about PAT Test Certification.

Upon completing the portable and/or fixed appliance testing, I provide the client with a PAT Test certificate within 24 hours.

The certificate includes a cover page with details of the client and the person who carried out the testing.

The next section provides advice or highlights any areas of concern noticed during testing.

This is followed by full, detailed results of the testing.

Each appliance tested has a unique ID number, a description, and a full set of test results, along with a pass or fail status.

I label and photograph any failed appliance to show the reason for failure.

A certificate of electrical safety is also attached, with a “valid until” date to indicate when the next testing should occur.
